REQUEST FOR SEALED PROPOSALS: Red Light Cameras RFP #1001 TO OPEN AUGUST 2, 2012 2:00PM EST The City of Phenix City is requesting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the provision, delivery and maintenance of an Automatic Red Light Enforcement System. The successful vendor shall provide all the necessary hardware and administrative support to ensure a credible and reliable electronic camera recording system. The system shall be able to monitor, detect and record violations, and shall post processing features and documentation suitable to support the issuance of citations in accordance with local ordinances. The City of Phenix City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or parts thereof, or to accept the proposal(s) or part thereof, when considered in the best interest of the City. Telephone or fax proposals will not be considered nor accepted. All bidders on construction projects in excess of $10,000.00 shall file with his bid either a certified check payable to the City of Phenix City for an amount not less than five (5) percent of the estimated cost or of the contractor's bid but in no event more than $10,000.00; or a bid bond payable to the City of Phenix City in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the estimated cost or of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00.
