Notice is hereby given that the Commission of the Unified Government of Georgetown-Quitman County (The "Commission") will consider for first reading an ordinance of the Unified Government of Georgetown-Quitman County, Georgia (the "Proposed Ordinance"), a brief description of the subject and purpose of which follows:

Suggested Rules of Conduct for River Bluff Walking Trail

THE TRAIL IS OPEN FROM SUNRISE TO

SUNSET

NO LITTERING

NO FOOD OR GLASS CONTAINERS ON TRAIL

NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES EXCEPT FOR

AMBULATORY DISABLED

CHILDREN UNDER 12 SHALL BE

ACCOMPANIED & SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT

NO HORSES

DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH

NO WEAPONS OR INTOXICANTS

NO FIRES

NO CUTTING, CARVING, UPROOTING, OR

DAMAGING OF PLANTS OR TREES

NO HUNTING

USERS MUST MAINTAIN DISCIPLINE AND

ORDER.

ROLLER SKATES, ROLLER BLADES,

SKATEBOARDS, BICYCLES, AND TRICYCLES

ARE PROHIBITED

PERSONS FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE WALKING TRAIL AND THE GENERAL PARK REGULATIONS SET FORTH BY GEORGETOWN-QUITMAN COUNTY COMMISSION MAY BE DENIED FUTURE USE OF THESE FACILITIES.

*ANY DAMAGE TO THE WALKING TRAIL/PARK FACILITY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS (229)334-0903 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IF YOU WITNESS A CRIME OR DAMAGE CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY.
