CITY OF FAIRBURN<br /><br /><B>INVITATION FOR BID #12-011C<br>FEC PARKING EXPANSION<br>CITY OF FAIRBURN</B><br><br>The City of Fairburn is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide all labor and materials for the construction and expansion of a permeable paver parking lot adjacent to the Fairburn Education Campus, located near 360 West Broad Street in Fairburn.<br><br>The work at the parking lot includes demolition, erosion control, grading, concrete paving, permeable paver installation, curb & gutter, and storm drainage.<br><br>A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for interested bidders will be held <B><U>at the site 10:00 A.M. on Tues day January 15th, 2013</B></U>.<br><br>Sealed bids will be received by the City Administrator, Fairburn City Hall, 56 Malone Street, Fairburn, GA 30213 until <B><U>2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 30th, 2013</B></U> at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Late bids will not be accepted.<br><br>Electronic plans and specifications will be provided in pdf format on compact disk for a non-refundable fee of $50, and printed copies of the plans and specification manuals will be provided for a non-refundable fee of $100 per set (both plans and specification manual must be purchased together).
