GEORGIA, BIBB COUNTY In compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998, Macon Housing Authority (MHA) has developed its Agency Plan addressing strategies for the revitalization of public housing. This will include MHA competitive bid for the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program allowing housing authorities to convert public housing operating and capital grant funding to Section 8 rental assistance contracts. The Plan is available for public review at the Authority Central Office located at 2015 Felton Avenue, Macon, GA 31201. Hours of operation are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday riday. In addition, a Public Hearing on the Plan will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Buck Melton Community Center, Training Room B, 150 Sessions Dr. in Macon.
