Because of default in the payment of an indebtedness secured by deed to secure debt, dated April 10, 2008, and executed and delivered by DAVID KEITH INGALLS to THE PATTERSON BANK, of record in the office of the Clerk of Pierce County, Georgia, and recorded in Deed Book 666 pages 216-223 to which deed and recordation reference is made for all proper purposes, and acting pursuant to the powers contained in the aforesaid deed to secure debt, the undersigned holder of said deed to secure debt and note will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the Courthouse door in said County, during the legal hours of sale, on the first Tuesday, in December, being December 4, 2012, the following described property, to-wit:

These tracts of land are known as 1613 US. Highway 84, Blackshear GA .

The debt secured by said deed to secure debt has been and is hereby declared due because of, among other possible events of default, failure to pay the indebtedness as and when due and in the manner provided in the note and deed to secure debt. The debt remaining being default, this sale therefore will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of sale, as provided in the deed to secure debt and by law, including attorney fees (notice of intent to collect attorney fees having been given).

NOTICE OF SEIZURE AND FORFEITURE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY VALUED AT LESS THAN $25,000

Pursuant to OCGA 16-13-49, you are hereby notified that on the 5th day of October, 2012, the following property was seized from Sherman Broady and Christina Fuller by the undersigned agency and there is a forfeiture pending against said property in Pierce County, Georgia:

Eight hundred, thirty dollars ($830.00) in U.S. currency.

The conduct giving rise to said seizure was as follows:

Between September 1st and October 5th, 2012, Detectives with the Blackshear Police Department have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug activity in the Blackshear, Georgia area. During the investigation Sherman Broady sold or participated in the sale of cocaine on three occasions. Detectives executed a search warrant at 300 Watson Street in Blackshear, Georgia, being the residence of Sherman Broady. Officers located approximately 1.7 grams of crack cocaine and 7.7 grams of powder cocaine, along with digital scales and baggies. Seven hundred, eighty dollars ($780.00) in U.S. currency was located in a safe and fifty dollars ($50.00) was seized from under a pillow along with a bag of marijuana. The seized property is now in the custody of the Blackshear Police Department, 219 Nichols Street, Blackshear, GA 31516. Sherman Broady and Christina Fuller were charged Possession of Cocaine and With Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Related Objects. Said currency was used or intended for use to facilitate a violation of O.C.G.A. 16-13-30, or proceeds derived or realized therefrom.

You may file a claim by sending the claim by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the District Attorney and to the seizing agency at the addresses shown below. Your claim must comply with the requirements set forth in O.C.G.A. 16-13-49(n)(4) and must be filed within thirty (30) days of the second publication of this notice in the official organ of Pierce County, Georgia.
