NOTICE OF SEIZURE AND FORFEITURE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY\

VALUED AT LESS THAN $25,000\

Pursuant to OCGA 16-13-49, you are hereby notified that on the 4th day of July, 2012, the following property was seized from Esquadrick Williams and Curtis Williams by the undersigned agency and there is a forfeiture pending against said property in Ware County, Georgia:\

One thousand, four hundred, five dollars and thirty-four cents ($1,405.34) in U.S. currency;\

Five hundred, ninety-six dollars and ninety-one cents ($596.91) in U.S. currency; and\

One (1) 1989 Dodge Ram D100 pickup truck, grey in color, VIN-1B7FE06Y9KS013216, GA tag #BUB-9194.\

The conduct giving rise to said seizure was as follows:\

On July 4th, 2012, Officer C. Chance and Officer D. White of the Waycross Police Department were on patrol near the McDonald Street and Albany Avenue intersection in Waycross, Georgia. \'a0Officer Chance observed the driver of a 1989 Dodge pickup truck run the Stop sign on McDonald Street. \'a0A traffic stop was conducted at GA Hwy 520 and Brunel Street. \'a0The driver of the vehicle was identified as Curtis Williams. \'a0Jamie Blake and Esquadrick Williams were passengers. \'a0Curtis Williams advised Officer Chance that there were drugs in the vehicle and showed the officer the drugs were located behind the seat. \'a0A plastic bag containing cocaine was seized. \'a0The driver and both passengers denied ownership of the cocaine. \'a0While searching Esquadrick Williams, Officer White located $1,405.34 and several small bags used in packaging illegal drugs for street sales, in E. Williams\'92 pocket. \'a0$596.91 was seized from the person of Curtis Williams. \'a0Esquadrick Williams and Curtis Williams were charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Crack Cocaine, and Possession of a Controlled Substance within 1000 Feet of a Park. \'a0Curtis Williams was also charged with Stop Sign violation. Said property was used or intended for use to facilitate a violation of OCGA 16-13-30, or proceeds derived or realized therefrom.\

You may file a claim by sending the claim by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the District Attorney and to the seizing agency at the addresses shown below. \'a0Your claim must comply with the requirements set forth in OCGA 16-13-49(n)(4) and must be filed within thirty (30) days of the second publication of this notice in the official organ of Ware County, Georgia.\
