LEGAL NOTICE Qualifying for independent candidates for the 2012 General Election begins at 9 A.M. on Monday, July 30, 2012, and ends at Noon on Friday, August 3, 2012, in the Board of Elections Office at 1815 Gloucester Street, Brunswick. Independent candidates must file a Notice of Candidacy and pay the qualifying fee for placement on the General Election ballot. Independent candidates are also required to file a nominating petition, to be filed no earlier than 9 A.M. on Monday, July 30, 2012, and no later than Noon on Monday, August 6, 2012.
