M-7406 PUBLIC NOTICE Cobb County Water System 660 South Cobb Drive Marietta, Ga. 30060 WASTEWATER OVERFLOW 4449 Old Stilesboro Road Acworth, Georgia 30101 This official notification is being made in compliance with the requirements of Section 12-5-30 of the Official Code of Georgia. A wastewater overflow occurred at 4449 Old Stilesboro Road, Acworth, Georgia 30101, on July 29, 2012. The overflow was the result of grease and debris in the main sewer line. The Water System was notified at 8:41 p.m. and the overflow was stopped at 9:10 p.m. The manhole overflowed into a tributary of Allatoona Creek. The volume of overflow was calculated at 940 gallons and there was one fish killed as a result of the overflow. Laboratory monitoring of the waterway is underway. 8:3
