NOTICE OF SEIZURE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY VALUED AT LESS THAN $25,000.00 Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Sec. 16-13-49, any person claiming an interest in the following property is hereby notified that on May 30, 2012, said property was seized by officers of the Glynn/Brunswick Narcotics Enforcement Team (GBNET) from Antavious Sherod Workman: One Thousand Two Hundred and Forty-two Dollars ($1,242.00). The conduct giving rise to said seizure was as follows: On May 30, 2012, in Glynn County, Georgia, officers with the Glynn County Police Department initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by Antavious Workman for a Noise Violation. Mr. Workman did not possess a driver license due to a prior suspension of his license. A large amount of United States Currency was located on Mr. Workman in denominations consistent with the distribution of controlled substances during the search of Mr. Workman incident to his arrest. The vehicle was searched after a K-9 alerted to the presence of controlled substances. Marijuana residue, a razor blade and several small plastic baggies were found inside the car. Said property was used or intended for use to facilitate a violation of O.C.G.A. Sec. 16-13-30 and/or was proceeds derived or realized therefrom. You are further notified that you may file a claim within thirty (30) days of the second publication of this Notice of Seizure by sending the claim by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the District Attorney and to the Seizing agency at the addresses shown below.
