NOTICE OF HEARING<br /><br />FOR JUDICIAL IN REM<br /><br />TAX FORECLOSURE<br /><br />A Petition for Judicial In<br /><br />Rem Tax Foreclosure<br /><br />has been filed in the Superior<br /><br />Court of Baldwin<br /><br />County, Georgia, in accordance<br /><br />with O.C.G.A.<br /><br />48-4-75 et seq, and the<br /><br />Baldwin County Resolution<br /><br />dated July 15, 2003,<br /><br />by Cathy Freeman Settle<br /><br />in her official capacity as<br /><br />Tax Commissioner of<br /><br />Baldwin County.<br /><br />R i c h a r d<br /><br />Wingfield is the record<br /><br />owner of the real property<br /><br />known as tax parcel<br /><br />M80-037, 131 W. Walton<br /><br />Street, and described as<br /><br />follows:<br /><br />All that tract or parcel<br /><br />of land, together with all<br /><br />permanent improvements<br /><br />located thereon<br /><br />and connected therewith,<br /><br />situate, lying and<br /><br />being in the City of<br /><br />Milledgeville, 320th<br /><br />GMD, Baldwin County,<br /><br />Georgia, being a part of<br /><br />the most southerly portion<br /><br />of Square Number<br /><br />One Hundred Eighty<br /><br />(180) according to Dr.<br /><br />Mitchell official survey<br /><br />and map of said<br /><br />City, on the north side<br /><br />of that public street<br /><br />which is known by<br /><br />common local reference<br /><br />as ailroad<br /><br />Street but which is officially<br /><br />designated as<br /><br />Walton Street, and the<br /><br />same is generally<br /><br />bounded as follows:<br /><br />On the North by lands<br /><br />formerly owned by Lula<br /><br />Reddick and now<br /><br />owned by L.J. Martin, a<br /><br />distance of fifty-two<br /><br />feet and six inches,<br /><br />more or less; On the<br /><br />East a distance of one<br /><br />hundred five feet, more<br /><br />or less, by lands formerly<br /><br />owned by Lula<br /><br />Reddick and more recently<br /><br />owned by Malchus<br /><br />Wilson; On the<br /><br />South a distance of<br /><br />fifty-two feet and six<br /><br />inches, more or less, by<br /><br />the north property line<br /><br />of said Walton Street;<br /><br />and on the West a distance<br /><br />of one hundred<br /><br />five feet, more or less,<br /><br />by lands now or formerly<br /><br />by Jimmie<br /><br />Bishop.<br /><br />This is the same property<br /><br />conveyed to Richard<br /><br />Wingfield by Warranty<br /><br />Deed of Ernest<br /><br />Wingfield, dated February<br /><br />21, 1949, recorded<br /><br />in Deed Book 36, page<br /><br />123, Baldwin County records.<br /><br />On July 20,<br /><br />2012, a petition was filed<br /><br />in Baldwin County Superior<br /><br />Court seeking foreclosure<br /><br />of the ad valorem<br /><br />tax lien(s) for the years<br /><br />2010 - 2011 in the<br /><br />amount of $1,954.74, as<br /><br />of July 20, 2012.<br /><br />Pursuant to<br /><br />O.C.G.A. 48-4-79(a) a<br /><br />hearing shall be held on<br /><br />the 31st day of August,<br /><br />2012, at 9:00 a.m. in<br /><br />Court Room 2 of the<br /><br />Baldwin County Courthouse,<br /><br />121 North Wilkinson<br /><br />Street, Milledgeville,<br /><br />Georgia, wherein all interested<br /><br />parties may intervene<br /><br />before this Court for<br /><br />this purpose of opposing<br /><br />the granting of the Petition<br /><br />and issuance of an<br /><br />Order and Judgment allowing<br /><br />for sale of the<br /><br />above listed property for<br /><br />delinquent ad valorem<br /><br />taxes pursuant to<br /><br />O.C.G.A. 48-4-75 et.<br /><br />seq., and to show cause<br /><br />as to why this Court<br /><br />should not grant such Petition<br /><br />as entered by Cathy<br /><br />F.
