NOTICE OF PLANNING AND APPEALS BOARD PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE is hereby given that the Gainesville Planning and Appeals Board will conduct a public hearing. This hearing will be held in the Gainesville Justice Center (Public Safety Complex), located at 701 Queen City Parkway at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, on the following: 1) Request from the City of Gainesville to annex and to establish zoning for 115 unincorporated island parcels and right-of-way comprising a total of 197.07 acres currently located within the jurisdiction of Hall County. A copy of the unincorporated island properties and maps are available for viewing in the office of the Community Development Department located at 311 Henry Ward Way or on the City of Gainesville web site at www.gainesville.org. Additional information is available from the City of Gainesville, Community Development Department (770-531-6570). NOTE: In accordance with Georgia law, anyone who wishes to express opposition to the proposed zoning action, and has made, within two years immediately preceding the filing of the proposed zoning action, campaign contributions aggregating $250 or more to a local government official who will consider the application, shall file a disclosure of contribution(s) with the Planning Division at least five (5) days prior to the first reading of the proposed zoning action by the City Council.
