NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE BONDS TO BE ISSUED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ATHENS, GEORGIA
Notice is hereby given that on the 14th day of November, 2012, at 8:30 a.m., in offices of the Housing Authority of the City of Athens, 300 S. Rocksprings Street, Athens, Georgia 30606, a Public Hearing will be held concerning the proposed issuance of multifamily housing revenue bonds in one or more series (the Bonds ) by the Housing Authority of the City of Athens, Georgia (the Issuer ) in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $65,000,000, for the purpose of assisting WWJ LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company (referred to as the Borrower ) with the rehabilitation, renovation and modernization of approximately 44 multifamily residential rental housing projects. The projects to be rehabilitated, renovated and modernized and their locations are as follows (collectively, the Projects ):

The Projects will be managed by Boyd Management, Inc. The hearing will be held before a hearing officer designated by the Housing Authority of the City of Athens, Georgia, and may be continued or adjourned.
The Bonds, when and if issued, will be the limited obligation of the Issuer and will not constitute a general obligation of the State of Georgia, the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, the Issuer, or any other political subdivision of the State of Georgia, nor shall the Bonds be payable in any manner by taxation, but are payable solely from the payments made by or on behalf of the Borrower, pursuant to an agreement between the Issuer and the Borrower which are pledged to the payment of the Bonds. The issuance of Bonds will allow for the rehabilitation, renovation, modernization and continued operation of the Projects and is in furtherance of the public purpose of the Issuer. Further information regarding the proposed Bonds and the proposed facility financed are of public record in the office of the Housing Authority of the City of Athens, Georgia at 300 S. Rocksprings Street, Athens, Georgia 30606. Any interested party having views on the proposed issuance of the Bonds or the nature or location of the proposed Projects may be heard at such public hearing.
