GRAND JURY
We, the July 2012 Term
of the Baldwin County
Grand Jury met on Monday,
July 9, 2012. We
considered a total of 39
bills of indictment; of
these, we true-billed each
and every count on all 39
bills of indictment.
We, the Grand Jury, reappointed
Michael A.
Bradley as a Regular
Member and John W.
Griffen as an Alternate
Member to succeed
themselves on the Baldwin
County Board of Tax
Equalization, with their
new terms commencng
on January 1, 2013 and
expiring December 31,
2015. We also appointed
Charles ut Stone as an
Alternate Member to fill
the unexpected term created
by the resignation of
Board Member Orenthal
Baymon; this term will be
upon completion of the
new members certification
and will expire on
December 31, 2013.
Pursuant to O.C.G.A.
15-12-7, the Grand Jury
voted to keep the compensation
of Court Bailiffs
at $55.00 per day. They
also voted to keep the expense
allowance for
Traverse and Grand Jury
jurors at $35.00 per day.
