NOTICE OF SEIZURE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY VALUED AT LESS THAN $25,000

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 16-13-49, any person claiming an interest in the following property is hereby notified that on July 11, 2012, said property was seized from Kenneth Michael Vickers, Jr. in Coffee County, Georgia by officers of the Coffee County Sheriff Department, Douglas Police Department or law enforcement officers working therewith, to wit: One (1) 2001 Honda TRX500, VIN #478TE260914002785. The conduct giving rise to said seizure was as follows: On July 11, 2012, Kenneth Michael Vickers, Jr. was taken into custody and charged with manufacturing marijuana. The seized property is contraband and was directly or indirectly used or intended for use to facilitate a violation of O.C.G.A. Section 16-13-30 and/or was proceeds derived or realized therefrom and/or was found in close proximity to cocaine and/or marijuana.

You are further notified that you may file a claim pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 16-13-30 within thirty (30) days of the second publication of this Notice of Seizure by sending the came by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the District Attorney and to the seizing agency at the address shown below.
