NOTICE OF SEIZURE OF PERSONAL

PROPERTY VALUED AT LESS THAN $25,000



Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 16-13-49 (n) (1) and (2) notice of seizure by the CITY OF ADAIRSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT, of the property described below in Item (A), is hereby given to (1) any and all owners or interest holders of said property; and (2)) the owner or interest holder of said property, has THIRTY (30) DAYS within which a CLAIM MUST BE FILED in compliance with the provisions of O.C.G.A. 16-13- 49 (n) (3) and (4).



Item (A) Description of Property:



2004 Ford Truck Vehicle, VIN: 1FTPX14584NA63703;



Item (B) Date and Place of Seizures:



Saturday February 2nd, 2001, in the immediate area of the Mapco business @ 6434 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, City of Adairsville, Bartow County, State of Georgia;



Item (C) Conduct giving rise to forfeiture:



On the date and location described in Item (B) above, officers of the City of Adairsville Police Department, while engaged in a criminal traffic investigation concerning JOSHUA WILSON CRABTREE and BRANDON MOORE, who occupied the vehicle described in Item (A) above, located and seize from inside said vehicle, the substance marijuana, the controlled substances, methamphetamine (sch.2) and alprazolam (sch.4), along with numerous illegal drug related retail sales and use items, including but not limited to, digital weighing scales, plastic baggies, marijuana grinder and blunt wrappers, syringes and various contrived smoking devices., which were all seized by law enforcement officers along with the 2004 Ford truck vehicle described above as contraband, allowed by the provisions of O.C.G.A. 16-13-49 (d) (1), (d) (2), (d) (3) and (d) (6).



Item (D) Violation of Law Alleged:



O.C.G.A. 16-13-30 & O.C.G.A. 16-13-33.
