PRESENTMENTS OF THE GRAND JURY<br /><br />FOR JULY 2012 TERM, <br /><br />NOVEMBER 2012 SESSION, <br /><br />OF WORTH COUNTY<br /><br />SUPERIOR COURT<br /><br />We, the Grand Jury drawn to serve <br /><br />at the regular July 2012 Term of the <br /><br />Superior Court of Worth County <br /><br />Meeting, at the July 2012, Novem-<br /><br />ber 2012 Session make the follow-<br /><br />ing presentments:<br /><br />1. We wish to thank the Honorable <br /><br />Melanie Cross, Judge, for her able <br /><br />instructions to this body, District At-<br /><br />torney Paul Bowden, Assistant Dis-<br /><br />trict Attorney Ronnie Wheeler, In-<br /><br />vestigator Melissa Luke, and the <br /><br />rest of the District Attorney staff, <br /><br />and Sheriff Freddie Tompkins and <br /><br />his department, Chief Wayne Jen-<br /><br />nings and his department, and our <br /><br />Bailiff Lyndell Ford for his assis-<br /><br />tance.<br /><br />2. The Grand Jury considered evi-<br /><br />dence presented concerning 45 Of-<br /><br />fenses and returned 45 True Bills, 0 <br /><br />No Bills, and 0 Tabled.<br /><br />3. The Grand Jury inspected Worth <br /><br />County Property and makes the fol-<br /><br />lowing recommendations:<br /><br />A.Worth County Jail, We recom-<br /><br />mend renovation of county jail or a <br /><br />new jail for safety of personnel work-<br /><br />ing at the jail.<br /><br />B.Worth County District Attorney <br /><br />Office, We recommend more stor-<br /><br />age space.<br /><br />C. Clerk of Superior Court Office, <br /><br />We recommend installing ceiling <br /><br />fans in the Clerk Office.<br /><br />D. Probate Court Office, We recom-<br /><br />mend the janitorial staff to clean and <br /><br />vacuum the office. Probate Court <br /><br />needs storage area and shelves.<br /><br />E. Tax Office, Needs a glass shield <br /><br />across front desk for protection. <br /><br />Buzzers are needed on the door to <br /><br />alert employees that someone is en-<br /><br />tering the office.
