PUBLIC NOTICE The Glynn County Board of Commissioners is seeking people interested in an available position on the following Board: Glynn County Board of Tax Assessors One (1) Position to serve for the remainder of the unexpired term of Peter Nermoe, which ends August 6, 2016. Qualifications: Candidate must be at least 21 years of age; Must become a resident of Glynn County within six (6) months of taking oath of office; Must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent; Must be able to successfully complete mandated 40 hours of approved appraisal courses within 180 days of initial appointment; Must be able to successfully complete an additional 40 hours of approved appraisal courses during each two calendar years of tenure as a board member. Must be able to attend all regular meetings, called meetings and work sessions as scheduled. One year of experience in real estate related work is desired but not required.
