PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission has filed with the U.S. Department of Justice a Submission for Preclearance of Act No. 540 (House Bill No. 1271) passed by the Georgia General Assembly and signed by Governor Nathan Deal on April 11, 2012; referendum approved by the voters on July 31, 2012 calling for expansion of the commission by adding two elected citizen members pursuant to Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended. A copy of the submission package and all exhibits thereto are available for public inspection and copying at the office of the Director, Keith P. Morgan, located on the third floor of 700 Gloucester Street, Brunswick, Georgia 31520 during normal business hours.
