PUBLIC NOTICE CHATHAM AREA TRANSIT AUTHORITY Invitation for Bids NO. 2012-11 Passenger Amenities Notice is hereby given that the CHATHAM AREA TRANSIT AUTHORITY (CAT) is seeking proposals for the following services and equipment: Description: Chatham Area Transit is the regional transit provider. A recent survey of our passengers indicated that the lack of shelters and bench was the top inhibitor for people willing to use public transit in our community. As an agency, we have adopted to the mantra that we will operate a system that is "Clean, Safe and Reliable." Improving our customers waiting experience is paramount in carrying out this mission. Shelters, bench and trash can are a major component of our passenger amenities.
