Public Notice

The Barrow County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on August 16, 2012 at 7:00pm at the Barrow County Administrative Building for the following items:

1. RZ-2012-011 - Ann Steed Harris, Applicant / E. W. Steed Estate, Owner; (974 Hwy. 211 N.E., Winder, GA 30680); Request to rezone 0.806 acres from R1 to AR in order to combine with the abutting tract and be in compliance with the minimum acreage requirement for the AR zoning district; (XX104 100)

2. RZ-2012-012 - John & Michele Groffices, Applicants / Owners; (1126 Jefferson Highway); Request to rezone 1.62 acres from R1 to AG in order to recombine with the abutting 3.90 acre AG tract; (XX103 043)

3. RZ-2012-013 - Jeanette M. Reiser (Doris), Applicant / Owner; (2392 Hwy. 82, Statham, GA 30666); Request to rezone 2 acres out of 19.09 acres from AG to AR in order to split for a single family dwelling and be in compliance the minimum acreage requirement for the AR zoning district; (XX124 100)

Barrow County Board of Commissioners will hold public hearing on these items on September 11, 2012 at 7:00pm at the Barrow County Administrative Building, 233 E. Broad Street, Winder, GA 30680, 2nd floor in the Board Room.
