In addition, through our partnership with Athens Technical College, students may take courses at the Athens Community Career Academy in the following college pathways: Accounting, Business Administrative Technology, Computer Information Systems, Networking, Criminal Justice, Drafting, Early Childhood Care & Education, Healthcare, Hotel/Restaurant/Tourism Management, Marketing Management. College courses taught at the Career Academy by Athens Technical College which are accepted by all Georgia Technical Colleges and University System of Georgia schools include: English 1101 - Composition and Rhetoric, English 1102 - Literature and Composition, Math 1111 - College Algebra, Biology 1111/1111L - Biology I and Biology Lab, Chemistry 1211/1211L - Chemistry I and Chemistry Lab, History 2111/2112 - US History I and II, Psychology 1101 - Introductory Psychology. We encourage and invite all students to enroll in our CTAE and dual enrollment/ACCEL programs.
