After the time and in the Purchasing Department Conference Room Suite 106, the proposals will be logged in and names of those submitting will be read and posted. No proposals will be accepted after this time and date.

General: Eight system sites have been selected for the addition of a video surveillance and monitoring solution. The proposal consists of the vendor outfitting each site with a minimum of three cameras to monitor the critical compound areas. We expect two wireless cameras mounted within the fenced site s compound, and one camera affixed inside each shelter.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit: Thursday, January 3, 2013 @ 10:00AM, Floyd County Administration Building* 12 East 4th Ave.* Rome, Ga. 30161 in the Commissioners Caucus Room on the second floor.

Bid may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time has been called on the date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. All bonds must be signed or countersigned by a Georgia Resident Agent.

A faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid, a Labor Materials Payment Bond in the amount of not less than the amount of said Bid, one hundred percent (100%), as well as Certificate of Insurance, shall be furnished by the successful bidders.

Proposals may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA.

The County reserves the right to waive compliance by any applicant with any provision contained in this request whenever the County in its sole discretion believes such waiver is in the County s best interests
