Request for Proposal For Legal Services The Clarke County Board of Education is seeking proposals from law firms and/or attorneys to provide legal services for the Clarke County School District for calendar year 2013. The successful applicant will: Attend and provide legal advice at all regular, special, public, and committee meetings, hearings, and other meetings of the Board of Education; Serve as parliamentarian at all Board of Education meetings; When so directed by the Board or Superintendent, represent or coordinate all litigation for the District, including but not limited to administrative hearings and civil matters; Prepare and render oral and/or written legal opinions upon request of the Board, Superintendent, and designated staff; Provide legal assistance in the drafting and review of legal documents, policies, rules, regulations, resolutions, legal notices and advertisements, and other legal or quasi-legal documents; Advise the Board in all matters of a legal or technical nature regarding the interpretation of statutes, charters, ordinances, contracts, policies, and regulations; Prepare or approve all contracts entered into on behalf of the Board; Advise
