GEORGIA, BIBB COUNTY INVITATION TO BID -The Housing Authority of the City of Macon, Georgia will receive sealed bids in the Conference Room of the Macon Housing Authority Technical Services Office, 2009 Felton Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31201, until 10:00 A.M., at the time legally prevailing in Macon, Georgia on Thursday, March 21, 2013, for the GRASSING AND MULCHING AT SCATTERED SITES for the Macon Housing Authority, located in Macon, Georgia. At the time and place noted above, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bids or bid bonds by facsimile (fax) will be allowed. -Contract documents, including specifications, are on file at the office of the Housing Authority of the City of Macon, Georgia, 2009 Felton Avenue. -Bidding documents may be obtained at the office of the Architect, BTBB inc., 609 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia, 31201. Application for documents together with a deposit of $75.00 per set should be filed promptly with the Architect. Bidding material will be forwarded, shipping charges collect, as soon as possible. The full amount of deposit for one set will be refunded to each General Contractor who submits a bona fide bid and upon return of such set in good condition within thirty (30) days after date of opening of bids. All other deposits will be refunded with deduction of cost of reproduction of documents upon return of same in good condition within thirty (30) days after date of opening of bids. Partial sets of bid documents will not be issued. -There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in the Conference Room at the MHA Technical Services Office, located at 2009 Felton Avenue / Macon, Georgia. -Contract, if awarded, will be on lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time has been called on date of bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to Housing Authority of the City of Macon, Georgia, in amount not less than 5% of the base bid.
